First
I would like to start this review off by paying my respect to the lovely and
talented Kim Karr. There hasn’t been a book that she has written that I didn’t become
one with the characters and fall deeply in love with their story. There’s just
something about the way that she writes that just pulls your attention in and
you are held captive to her words right up until the end of the book. Trust me
when I say that this is the case with “Hot Stuff.” Nick and Gillian’s story
will do just that to you, it had its moment of seriousness and the right amount of light
heartedness to keep the mood even.
Gillian
was made for Lucas because she was this strong, no prisoner, independent woman.
He really needed her to kick is little arrogant attitude down a notch. I find
it even more enticing that their little romance was forbidden and against the “rules”
but once you get to know Lucas you will see that he is the ultimate rule
breaker. You will most definitely see that these two couldn’t possibly stay
away from each other with the amount of chemistry that was palpable between the
two of them, I mean damn, and even I was getting a high off it while I was
reading.
This
book was the perfect read for me, one that I couldn’t possibly put down. So I
say to you my book friends you must pick this book up and enjoy the sexy ride
that both I and Gillian enjoyed.
