I lie to survive.
Have since I was sixteen and my world fell into chaos. But I found a way to endure, or rather it found me. Now I’m a prisoner of my own doing, hiding behind a false mask so no one sees the truth. Not even the man I want but can’t have—Deck. But I messed up and the lies are spilling over, out of control.
Deck is unrelenting and will settle for nothing less than the truth. He demands everything from me—EVERYTHING—even if it rips me apart.
I kill for a living.
Unyielding—It’s how I survive in my line of work. I bend people to my will…except Georgie.
But that ends now.
I've played her game for far too long, but not anymore. Now I think it's time we play mine.

Let me start off my saying that what an ah-mazing writer Nashonda she continues to surprise me. I fell in love with her writing ever since reading “Torn from You.” She knows how mix angst, comedy, love and sex well. It’s like her books are a well made cocktail, it will give just the right amount of satisfaction. I just knew from the beginning that Georgie and Deck’s story was going to literally have my heart into tiny pieces at the beginning and then by some well known power, which I think certain authors have, will put those pieces back together. I’ve always loved Georgie, she was funny, witty and I loved it when she gave Deck a hard time. But deep down inside she held such a pain that not even I knew she was hiding it so damn well, and not only that she was keeping a huge secret from Deck that in end had to be revealed, and oh what a damn reveal that was. Let me tell you, I was beyond surprised about it, you will not expect it folks. Expect the unexpected guys and keep your eyes peeled to the pages because you do not want to miss not a minute of this story. And then we have the sex scenes, holy hot as hell, damn is all I have to say, they are going to make your e-reader set a-freaking-blaze. Then Nashonda graced us with the guys from “Asunder”, damn I love me some Crisis. Thank you so much Nashonda for sharing Deck and Georgie’s story with us readers, I am anticipating 2015 because who what a year it will be for your readers. I. Cannot. Wait.
