~Synopsis~

One bad hit has left the career of young NHL Center Luke Hudson in question. When he arrives for rehab with a minor league team, his injury has robbed him of the edge that made him great.

Team trainer Adella Price’s job is to help Luke get back in peak condition. But their one on one sessions shake her resolve to remain unattached. Dell is hands-off to all hockey players, even one as charming and successful as Luke.

As Luke starts to get ahold of his game again, he loses his grip on his heart. Helping Luke get his edge back brings to light what Dell is missing from her life. Brenda Rothert have done it yet again with "Edge." I fell in love with the character Luke ever since I read "Bound" and "Captive." He's sexy, witty, and funny, I knew that if he was going to have his own book it would be one that I had to read. Then we get introduce to a heroine that will melt your heart and make your sides hurt all at the same time, I love Dell. When we put the two of them together it's a match made in heavens. We get to see both of these characters grow, we see Luke grow from a man who just didn't want anything to do with an emotional attachment, to a man who's willing to do anything to prove his love for Dell. Then we have Dell, who thought that all hockey players were whore and that nothing positive will come from her dating one, because let's face it, her son's by one who's a deadbeat. But little she realize that Luke was going to come in rock her world, in more ways than one. I love that Brenda gave us comedy, drama, and a whooooooole lotta hot, steamy, sex scenes that is a sure fine way to get get your blood pumping.
I know I am asking for a lot when I say, I sure hope to get more of Luke and Dell, or who knows, maybe a little more from the rest of the "gang." Great writing by Brenda, trust me when I say that her readers will not be disappointed with the outcome.
