Erika Ashby has done it again folks. No Going Back has been on amazing ride, it had emotions, suspense, & laughter. I thought I enjoyed Derek & Jesika's story was intense but my, my, my Seth & Mallory's story was so intense that I could feel the tension radiating off my kindle. I loss sleep because I could not put it down, Mallory was the spicy, fiery little lady who speaks her mind & never hold back how she's feeling and I totally love that about her character. Seth's character was definitely sex on stick let me tell, & all I have to say is all praises to the APA lol. The storyline was right one point and kept you wanting more. There was a lot that was revealed and all the drama made me not want to put it down. Great book, Erika Ashby have done it again, I must say that she never cease to amaze me. I give this book five thumbs up.
Character Interview (Seth & Mallory)
How's married life, and how has it changed you? Married life is amazing! I never in a million years would have thought it would be this cool. But I guess it all goes hand in hand with the fact that I married the most amazing woman. I don’t think it’s changed me. Maybe it’s changed my idea of what I had always thought marriage was…boring.
How has having a child changed your mind set? I love it. I love being a father. It’s the best feeling ever — knowing that you’re responsible and created a kid that is part of you, is a wicked feeling. My kid rocks.
Seth, how's it going with building your relationship with your father? Contrary to popular belief, it’s actually going. Thru the years I’ve realized that certain bull shit from the past you need to let go of. Especially if you ever want to keep moving forward with your life.
Mallory I really love your honesty, bluntness, & how you don't pussy foot around any topic at all, have you always been that way or did you become that way after the home life that you had to endure? I’ve pretty much always been an in your face type of chick. I didn’t fit the mold that my parents had for me and it made me want to be even more that way to prove a point to them that I wasn’t going to be someone that I wasn’t.
How are things going with the band now that Mallory's the manager? It’s boomin! She’s got so much shit set up for us than Roger Smoger couldn’t have even dreamt up. She’s very persuasive and has a knack for getting what she wants…I’m sure those qualities have nothing to do with all of our new success.
Seth are you totally in awe with Mallory's piercing & Mallory how are you liking the APA *lol*? APA what? *Mal laughs* I absolutely love his piercing. It feels amazing. But also knowing that he got it for me and me alone, makes it that much better. I’m sure he feels the feels the same about mine. *Seth nods enthusiastically*
Where do you see yourselves 5 years from now? Rich. *Seth laughs* Nah. I see us happy wherever we are in life. I see the band having a couple more records out, along with a couple more tours. I also see more kids in the future.
What can we expect next from The Rifters? Well, next you can catch us in our home state for the Oklahoma tornado benefit concert. We are extremely proud and humbled to have been included with all the amazing talent our state has bred. And after that we are soon to be kicking off a kick ass tour that my, ahem, manager set up for us.
