Title: A Restored Man
Series: The Men of Halfway House #3
Author: Jaime Reese
Genre: M/M Contemporary Romance
Release Date: February 17, 2015
Cole Renzo thinks his greatest challenge is to behave for the remainder of his term at Halfway House. Until he meets his new boss, Ty Calloway, a man who ticks off every box on Cole's list of interests.
A sought-after restorer and customizer of exotic and collectible cars, Ty had enough confidence to command what he wanted in life, until one fateful night changed everything. Almost two years later, he’s slowly rebuilding his life with great control. He's defied the odds and works tirelessly to be the man he once was—but he still feels broken.
Cole’s candor and unfiltered personality awaken Ty’s barely-remembered desire to greet each new day with a smile, while Ty’s unwavering acceptance of Cole’s quirks and brash humor makes Cole feel as if he fits in for the first time in far too long. When a nemesis threatens Ty’s personal restoration and the things he holds dear, Cole is determined to protect their relationship, even if that means sacrificing everything he’s worked so hard to achieve.
I mean what is there for me to say about “A Restored Man” by Jaime Reese other than she has done it yet again and I have fallen in love with Cole and Ty, and she needs to hurry up and write Jessie and Aidan’s book. I just couldn’t help but to fall in love with Cole, he was funny, fun loving and his personality was out of this world. He was just what Ty needed and he didn’t even know it. Cole had the aura about him that made people flock to him, they will get drawn to him because it was who he is, even though he never saw it but others did. I just everything about him, he was the strength that Ty needed, the support that he was missing, the back bone that would help him through the tough times. Then we have sweet Ty, damaged, broken, mixed up. He didn’t know that Cole, with his big personality would swoop in and be just the remedy and that he needed, and boy what a remedy he was. I enjoyed seeing Ty come back to his old self and to see him interact with Cole was so fantastic. I really did not want this story end, but I loved the way that it did, I love the fact that Ty was able to come back to his brother Aidan, to his friends and just be him. I probable shed a tear or five while reading this book because Jaime went no holds bar when it came to Cole and Ty expressing their emotions. It was raw, it was stripped and I loved it very much. I cannot wait to read Jessie and Aidan’s book; I have a feeling this is going to be another one that will be stripped bare.

Jaime Reese is the alter ego of an artist who loves the creative process of writing, just not about herself. Fiction is far more interesting. She has a weakness for broken, misunderstood heroes and feels everyone deserves a chance at love and life. An avid fan of a happy ending, she believes those endings acquired with a little difficulty are more cherished.
