Well, I must say
that Laura Kaye never cease to amaze me. This woman puts her heart and soul
into a story when she writes it, you have no other choice but to fall head
first into her books. Your heart will be ripped out of your chest with this one
folks, but don’t worry; she puts it back together again because she’s awesome
like that. I love the “Raven Riders” series and I must say that Cora and Slider’s
story is by far my favorite.
In the beginning
when I was introduced to Cora and Slider I just knew that there would be a
whole lot of hurt their but what Laura gave us is so much more. We get to watch
two people who were hurt beyond repair come together and with the other person’s
help they were able to build a future together and try to open up and get past
the hurt. To watch Slider come out from that protective shell was something to
behold and then we have Cora she was able to open up about her past, one that
will leave your heart breaking.
There were so many
wonderful, heart wrenching, gut wrenching moments I think I will need more than
a page to write this review. Laura Kaye did MC romance right and I cannot wait
to see what she has in store for her readers next.
