First I would like to talk about the talented woman we know has Harper Sloan. I have been a fan of her writing ever since I read “Axel” on my plane ride back home from Vegas four years ago and I never looked back. I have read every since book that she has written and I have never finished one of book and not felt like she never hit on every single point her book. She gives us sexy, she gives us pain and it is never a Harper Sloan book without the laughter. She just knows when the right time to insert those funny moments in her books is and that is way I love her so much. I love an author who get me lost in my own make believe world with their words and Harper is one of those authors. When I knew she was writing “Drunk on You” and after seeing her post about Shane and Nikki I just knew I was going to fall in love with these characters and of course Harper did not disappoint at all.

“Then, Nicole,” he whispers with heat, “get on your knees and suck my c*ck.”

*clears throat* All I have to say is this is a just a touch of what you will get form the domineering Shane himself. Harper is one of the few women who can write a hot alpha male and she did the damn thing when it came to Shane. Also Shane is one of the most beautiful broken man you will have the pleasure of meeting and you will love him dearly. I really think that Harper did a great job at pairing him with someone like Nikki. Even though she was going through her BS she was this strong confident woman who knows what and who she wants and wasn’t afraid to be vocal about it, and I loooooooved that about her.

Then we have the sex scenes, my gaaaawd I thought I one point I was going to swallow my tongue because my mouth ran so damn dry. There’s this one scene in there that I know that you guys are going to run and put an ice pack on your forehead because it was hot AF. Not only that but I enjoyed the raw, grittiness of Nikki and Shane’s story and I cannot wait for Harper to give us more of that because I crave her words.
