Her heart was pounding hard in her chest, the thunderous live applause still echoing around her and the rush of success and pride in overcoming what could have been a disaster, had her soaring.

“Did you see that?” she asked Ben. “My earpiece went dead and I nailed it anyway!”

“You totally did,” he said, a huge grin on his face that let her know he understood what a huge moment this was.

Against her stomach, she felt the hard press of his erection, causing desire to sweep over her in waves.

First and foremost I would like to say how much a lover I am when I come to a well written second chance romance story and Carly Phillips killed it with Ben and Summer’s story. It was one that hopes that you will have no other choice but to fall in love with too.

What happened to be a huge misunderstanding between Ben and Summer in the past has cost them not until a budding relationship but a friendship as well. I knew it was fate that brought them back together because these two were meant to be with each other because they shared so much and love with each other. Then we have the suspenseful aspect of the book that will leave you on the edge of your seat and wanting more. Of course it wouldn’t be Carly Phillips book without the sex appeal aspect of it and boy was it a hot one. I cannot wait for the next book in this series to come out; I will wait patiently for it.
