Well
again I get to say that I am always a fan of second chance romance and Lotus
and Orion’s story is one that will not give you the warm fuzzy feels in the
beginning. Why? Because their love was toxic, dark and sweet all at the same
time, there were secrets that where kept that cause some issues.
Lotus
was the light in Orion’s dark days, days he would try to move on from because
he wanted the woman he thought he deserved. The love that they shared is one so
passionate that you cannot help but to feel it reverberated through you when
you read this book. Orion made a choice to let the one that he loved get away
but how can you when you know this person is the love of your life. To watch
him try to win her back was so beautiful to see but of course there were some
obstacles that they had to cross first to get to the finish line which is their
love. Some of those obstacles are secrets that will be revealed that will have
your eyebrows shooting up in your head.
In
the end though, I was so happy to see these two get the HEA that I knew TL
Smith would give them.
