will start this review off by saying that I thought I was in love with Carly
Philips writing before but I feel like every time I read her one of her books I
fall deeper in love with it. You can’t help but to fall in love with her
characters, their story always gets you right in the heart and just pull right
on the strings. It’s just what happened to me when I read “Going Down Fast” I
loved Lucas and Maxie’s story so damn much. Here we have two people who have
been in love with each since they were younger but due to a jealous brother,
something that Lucas was clueless about did everything he could to keep them
apart even if it meant to deceive them both. I always believe everything happen
for a reason and Keith needed to be out of way in other for them to see the
true feelings that they both held for each other, and oh what a bastard that
Keith was he left a whole lot of BS behind stuff that came back to bite Maxie
in the butt even after he was gone. Lucas was there to rescue her like he
always does; he’s always there for as a friend and a confidant. He was opposite
of his brother Keith, so sweet, selfless, always put others feeling before his,
especially Maxie’s. Who knew that Lucas was going to grow up to be the
handsome, successful billionaire that he was today. And then we have the
steamy, hot sex scenes, oh Lucas is a naughty boy and I loved every single
minute of his naughtiness. I cannot wait to read Derek’s story, his will be a
very interesting one, and I have a feeling about these things.
