I
freaking loved “Moonshot” by Alessandra Torre. I mean what is there not to love;
she gave us a sexy male lead, a fun loving female, a little bit
suspense/mystery and a story about baseball. Once I started to read the book I
was sucked in from the get go, I enjoy the love that Ty had for baseball and
her dad’s team mate. The camaraderie that the team share was so precious, it
was like they were family and Ty was the one to help them stay afloat. Then in
comes Chase Stern, sexy, talented, love baseball and he was just as forbidden
as she was but how can help it when you aren’t just physically attracted to someone
but you guys make each other come alive when the other person is around and
that was one of the things I loved about this book. I loved watching Chase and
Ty build not only a relationship but a friendship that we see flourish. But all
good things must come to an end and that what happen when tragedy struck and
Chase and Ty was pulled apart for each then all of sudden we get the mystery and
suspense that Alessandra gave us. At the point I was so darn excited I couldn’t
wait to find out what was going and once everything was revealed I was shocked.
In the end both Ty and Chase got the HEA that they deserve and it was so
wonderful to watch it all unfold for us.
