Blog tour & giveaway for "Snow Boy" by Kay Manis

Title: Snow Boy
Series: X-Treme Boys #5
Author: Kay Manis
Genre: Sports Romance

Geneva Barton was a bitch—until the threat of criminal charges forced her to confront the demons from her past. Two years later she’s worked hard to overcome her vindictive ways. Everyone has given her a second chance. But does she deserve it?

Maybe a gorgeous stranger on a tropical island, 4,000 miles from home will help her find out.

After suffering heart-breaking loss, Berk Rigby has left his career as a professional snowboarder and returned to his native island home in Kauai, Hawaii. The last thing he deserves is absolution. But when a beautiful guest at his family’s resort forces him to confront his past, he’s suddenly thinking about a future again. A future with her. But does he deserve it?

A chance encounter.
A leap of faith.
A vacation that will last a lifetime.

Some folks aren’t fans of cliffhangers, they hate and despise it I love it when it’s done well and Kay Manis does just that, she leaves with just the right amount of suspense that will have you feigning for more hoping that the anticipation doesn’t kill you first. I fell deeply in love with this woman’s writing ever since I read “My Skater Boy” and I’ve been a fan ever since. When I say that “Snow Boy” was having a review tour I knew I had to hop right on board because I wanted to see how Kay was going to make her readers fall in love with Geneva, you know Geneva, the evil Geneva, the diabolical Geneva, yup that same one. And guess what she was able to accomplish just that, I fell in love with this character; I loved the fact that she remained humbled after everything that had happen to her. Not only that my heart ended up breaking for her because she wasn’t able to forgive herself for her past, she was trying to regroup and rebuild herself, but she still couldn’t get pass what she did to the people that cared for her the most. Then we have Berk, love him. He was sexy and oh so virile, damn I love me a manly character and he was those things and more. My heart was in pieces for him because I mean who could come back from such tragedy. But I can see that he wanted to build and move on Geneva but sometimes we cannot with our past holding us back. I mean Berk and Geneva wasn’t expecting to have feelings for each other, and that was the kicker, because we can never stop ourselves from feeling. I love that about Kay’s writing because she let her readers know that to expect the unexpected because that ending was much unexpected. I cannot wait to find out what else this amazing woman has in store for us. Hurry up and write, please.
