First Debt picked right where Indebted left off. We get
to see Nila try to be this strong individual and also we see a different part
of Jethro. He wants one thing but he has to do what he thinks is the right thing.
This debt has been in the family for centuries and he has to do what is his
birth right. There were moments where I can never understand Nila, I don’t think
she could deceive a deceiver especially when that’s been in the person blood
for decades. Then we have his brother who she befriends, but in the end they
have so many secerets that they’re hiding, once Nila finds out it’s going to
leave her even more scared than she already is. Jethro is battle with himself,
he is questioning his sanity, does he want to be saved or does he want to
continue this charade for his father, because he’s not doing it for himself. I also
realize that Nila is giving them a run for their money, she’s not as weak as some
may think. I really want Jethro to grow some balls kill his dad and call it a
day. Yeah I know easier said than done. I don’t what else Pepper have in store
for us readers but I am dying to find out what’s next.
