Release Day Blitz with review for "Battle" by KJ Bell

SYNOPSIS:

A battle is fought by soldiers on the ground in a time of war. Or

at least that’s what I used to think.

I’ve never had to fight for anything in my perfectly planned life,

and I certainly never thought I’d have to fight for love.

I was wrong.

One wild, carefree night, and one stupid dare made me realize you

can’t appreciate love until you’re forced to fight for it. I want the complex,
sexy bull rider who stole my heart in the middle of a deserted wheat field. But
Battle McCoy doesn’t believe in love.

What do you do when you aren’t prepared for battle? When someone

you care for becomes your greatest enemy? And your surrender is imminent?

I’m going to fight.

There’s a chance he’ll destroy me, but my heart will go to war to

make him mine.

~Review~

First KJ gave me Tug now she gave me Battle I don’t know man she keep on winning in the book boyfriend category for this girl right here. I absolutely loved Battle and Faye’s story; it’s one that will make you cry for sure. First we have Battle, who to everyone on the outside is a player and a very complicated man. Then we Faye who’s used to pleasing every one other than herself, I mean come on, she dated a douche for most of her life because she wanted to please her family and look where it got her. After a night of what was supposed to be “one night only” Faye and Battle end up trying to see if they could build a relationship, something Battle isn’t used. With every relationship there are obstacles, like Battle’s beliefs and the fact that he was hiding some deep dark secret, one that he didn’t want to share. Also we have his mother and his sister, and oh what a cutie she is, so vibrant and full of life. I also loved the fact that Faye became so liberated with her parents and what she believed was the best thing for her and not everyone else. My heart broke for Battle a time or three, I was love that he was able to set Faye straight and help her realize that one should not judge another person just because they’re not in the same playing field as you. Thank you so much KJ for sharing Faye and Battle with us, I really enjoyed his and Faye’s story to the max.
