Author: Jennifer Ryder

Release Date: August 30, 2014
Fast. That’s how I like life, especially my two great joys: bikes and women. I’m committed to exclusively riding one, but not the other.
A sexy-arse freelance photographer who’s travelled the world, and doesn’t do long walks on the beach or romantic candlelit dinners. She enjoys running with the bulls and food spicy enough to make your hair fall out. If that weren’t enough to get me hard, she rides a mean mother of a motorcycle.
I’ve gotta have a taste of this wildcat.
I don’t do fast. Not anymore. I’ve got my career, my independence, and since I fled Spain to come back home I promised myself that I wouldn’t be put second—or third, for that matter—again.
Then I meet pretty boy Spencer.
He’s smooth, oozing the most potent pheromones probably known to modern science, and he’s making a move on me. One kiss was almost enough for my promise to dissolve.
My head says no—my treacherous body screams yes. I’m gonna make Spencer work for it. Make him fight for the chance to have me, because I know that deep down I’m worth it.

Strike by Jennifer Ryder was one enjoyable read. I loved Spencer and April's story a lot, what a way to write up a love story that will stand the test of time. Here we have Spencer who's the ultimate man whore and then he so happens to meet April who gives him a run for his money, and it was one fantastic run. She made him see that there's more to a woman than just sex, they were able to build a friendship and in the end their relationship flourished because of it. April was so funny, I love it when she went on rants with Spencer, it's one of my best moments in the book. I also love her life life love life attitude some folks should live by that and it's exactly what Spencer needed in his life. Also the whole saying with when you have a one night stand they leave with a little piece of you, it is so true. You might say it's no strings attached but in the end they still end up leaving with an ounce of you. Thanks Jennifer for a really good story, I loved Spencer and April.
“Tell me you’ve got Patrón Tequila,” Rocco says to the bartender as he releases me from a headlock. I’d just finished sending my text when he grappled me.
“Sure do. How many glasses?” the bartender asks.
“Just two’ll do, but we ain't stoppin’ at one,” Rocco says, his gruff voice booming throughout the room.
Fuck, I’ll be pissed as a mute before I get outta here.
“Girls, get over here,” Rocco yells, motioning the two promo girls over.
They’re both tall and ridiculously skinny with long, bleached-blonde hair and wearing tight white tank tops and short denim shorts. They both lean their backs against the bar, either side of Rocco, linking an arm around his waist.
He twists his body around. “Lemon and salt,” he barks at the bartender, who promptly places a salt shaker and a bowl of cut lemon wedges in front of him.
“Straddle yourself a honey, Jones, and follow my lead.”
