“Gemma?”
Andrew asked, as if he wasn’t sure I was real.
I felt
tears sting my eyes as my heart filled with a familiar warmth, like coming
home. “Drew?” I asked, wondering if my own eyes were deceiving me. I couldn’t
deny my heart though.
He
walked toward me slowly, his blue eyes never leaving mine. He reached out his
hand and cupped my cheek. “I can’t believe it’s really you.” His voice was
deeper, manly, sophisticated. His face was flawless, perfect white teeth, his
bright blue eyes mesmerizing, much like I remember. His light brown hair was a
little long around the ears, in need of a haircut, but styled purposefully to
look like he had just stepped out of bed. He was taller than I remembered and
thin, but muscular at the same time.
Once
my head caught up with my heart, I jumped up and wrapped my arms around his
neck. “Oh, my God, Drew. This is crazy. I can’t believe you’re really here.” I
felt his arms engulf me as we stood swaying back and forth in each other’s
arms, suspended in time.
~Review~
After I got done with reading “Gravity” I was a little
nervous because I realize that this story was so well written, well thought
out, and the process that L.D went through to write such a spellbound in book
that mere words could not describe how wonderful of a story she gave us. This
is the second book that I have read by her and she has left me speechless yet
again, not many authors can do that to me. Gravity is a story about love lost
and finds again a different way. I felt for Gemma, what she went through with
her husband then having to find out what happen with Drew just made my
heartache even more. I want to say so much more but I really and truly don’t
want to give anything away, this book is one that have a HUGE twist that I just
have to talk around the obvious, but all I have to say is that you are in for a
fantastic ride, a ride that you will not want to get off, a ride that will
leave you speechless, a ride that will leave you breathless and last but not
least, a ride that will leave you so emotionally satisfied. Great written done
by a very talented lady, give us more L.D.

L.D. Cedergreen has always enjoyed writing. It started as
short stories, and later developed into poetry–some of which has been
published–and then her first full-length novel, Ripple. She’s a vivid day
dreamer, a passionate reader, and a fan of all music.

Originally from Washington State, she now resides in Southern California with
her husband and two little ones. As much as she would like to call herself a
