~Excerpt~

I tugged down my jeans, since his back was turned to me. We were both adults and he’d obviously seen a woman before. Being in my underwear was exactly like wearing a bathing suit. I had nothing to feel ashamed of.
Well, that’s how I felt before he turned around and got an eyeful. “I wasn’t kiddin’ about sharin’ a bed.”
I climbed into the cold bed next to his. “You and I both know what will happen if I get into that bed with you.”
He sat up, leaning on his elbow. “What’s that exactly?”
“Oh, you’re funny. Like you don’t know already. Do you really think I’d just throw caution to the wind and sleep with you after one day?”
“You almost did a few hours ago.”
He was right and I hated that he knew it. “I would have stopped you.”
“Darlin’, after one kiss you’d be beggin’ me for more.”
His huge ego annoyed me, but it also made me hot between my legs. I could close my eyes and picture him being between them, satisfying the growing craving I had for him. “Have I mentioned how much I hate cocky men?”
“Maybe you just hate cock. Are you into cleanin’ carpets? Is that how you roll?” He must have thought his comment was funny, because he rolled on his back and cackled at himself. “You like the taste of pussy?”
I pulled a pillow over my face and screamed into it. The bantering between us was making me crazy. I finally removed the pillow, put my hand on the lamp switch, and spoke. “Wouldn’t you like to know?” I shut off the light and rolled over promising myself that I wouldn’t listen to anything else he had to say.

~Review~

I really thought that I was living under a rock when I realized that I never read any of the "Mitchell Family" books. Once I saw every talking about "Noah" I knew I needed to get introduced to this very well known family that Jenn have written bout, and let me tell you that I am not disappointed at all. When I got introduced to Noah in the third book in the series he melted my heart, he was just so darn cute. Reading and finding out about all the kids and what have become of them is crazy. It was like life was repeating itself because low and behold Noah felt the same way Colt did about his father, they were doing the same things with not communicating with each other. Noah though that he wanted to find his way and that's when he ran into Shalan. She was every thing that Noah though he didn't want, but funny thing about love is that it doesn't have a time frame and we cannot help who we fall for. Shalan was able to fulfill her dreams but in the mean time she had to make a sacrifice with her relationship with Noah, even though they tried to fight the fact that that's exactly what they had. I love the fact that Jenn kept to comedy going with the banter, even though Noah wasn't as funny as Ty but I still loved his humor. Then we had the sex scenes, I feel like every story's sex scenes got hotter and hotter. Overall this was a fantastic book written about love, family and the things we will do for the ones we love. Thank you so much Jenn for sharing the "Mitchell Family" with us and I cannot wait for more.
