"Kiss me." She trembled.

If she didn't want the contact why had she requested it? I halted. "Are you sure?"

"Yes."

I planted a light peck on her cheek. The way we always did.

"A lover's kiss," she said.

Being referred to as her lover made me hard. I leaned in. "Are you certain?"

"Yes." Her eyes widened, she took hold of my blazer and pulled me closer.

Slowing my movement toward her, I cupped her neck with my fingers, and used my thumb beneath her jaw to angle her head upward. She stared into my eyes, as though attempting to read me. As I lowered my mouth to hers, I wrapped my other arm behind her waist and drew her flush to me.

She gasped.

Review

First I would like to say that this book is not for the weak at heart, this is not your typical erotica were the leading lady falls in love with the main male character. No this is dark erotica at its finest and boy I loved every minute of it. Some might say that Desniah was a whore but I would say that she is a tattered soul who uses sex as a way to numb all the pain that she’s endure while she was only a pre-teen. CJ was a sick man who took advantage of her while she was still innocent & the fact that his wife witnesses it & blamed her was beyond me. Confession was filled with so many emotions that it would take someone with an iron heart not to see the true meaning of this story. I feel for both Des & Cade because Cade wanted so bad to save her & she wanted so bad for him not to do it. Oh and let’s not forget about Ryles, wow, this man will have you falling in love with him, he oozes sex appeal and boy oh boy he will have you wanting to end up in his “dungeon”. I cannot wait to read the other volumes in this series because I just have to find out how the entire story unfolds. Leila did an excellent job with bringing her characters alive and she knows how to make a perfect story unfold.  I loved every sing second of this book.

About Author

Leila DeSint was born in a small town on the east coast of Canada. Her nomadic childhood gave her the ability to ebb and flow with the seasons, people and places she lived in. Most often, she could be found in a corner with a pencil and notepad using words to recreate the dark world around her. Many summers of her youth were spent on the shores of her birthplace collecting seashells, but she alway...s retuned them for the next wanderer that happened by.

The pencil and notepad have been traded for a computer, but the words never stop flowing, nor did her interest in conjuring glimpses of the world as she perceived it. The corner is now a desk. And rather than leaving behind seashells for wanderers, she pens dark, gritty erotic literature that examines the complexities of human emotions and sexuality through an ever-changing lens. She delves into the shadowy areas and explores the social-perceptions of taboos.
She threads together the remnants of the world she witnessed in order to shed light on obscure places.
