Review
Love Me Back is one of those stories where you have no other choice but to choose a side and the side that I chose was Gabe. I understand that Maddy grew up with Trent being her best friend turned boyfriend, but she has been there for him countless times. Don’t get me wrong but him being there “once” wasn’t enough to convince me that he wasn’t a selfish bastard who wanted his cake and eat it too. But Gabe on the other hand is so loving and caring; he has always been there for Maddy when she needed Trent but as always Mr. Selfish cared about him and no one else. Needless to say in the end Trent proved himself worthy of my love lol. This was an excellent book written by Michelle, the storyline was on point and you will not want to put this book. I loved every moment of it and what it had to offer to the readers. I was so happy with the ending that I couldn’t stop myself from smiling, boy oh boy Trent threw me for loop. Michelle this was one great book, five star reviews all the way to the bank.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR -
Michelle Lynn has always been a reader, but her passion has become a full-blown addiction since her husband bought her a Kindle for Mother's Day. She's pretty sure that he regrets this on a regular basis. Especially when she has it propped up next to the stove while she cooks, which often results in a burnt dinner. Or when he loses sleep because the glow from the screen wakes him up when he rolls over at three in the morning. He does agree, however, that she uses this gift more than any other he has ever gotten her. She joking counters that, because of some of the steamy novels she reads, he also benefits more from this gift than any other he has gotten her. ;)
Michelle moved around the Midwest most of her life, transferring from school to school before settling down in the outskirts of Chicago ten years ago, where she now resides with her husband and two kids. She developed a love of reading at a young age, which helped lay the foundation for her passion to write. With the encouragement of her family, she finally sat down and wrote one of the many stories that have been floating around in her head. When she isn’t reading or writing, she can be found playing with her kids, talking to her mom on the phone, or hanging out with her family and friends. But after chasing around twin preschoolers all day, she always cherishes her relaxation time after putting the kids to bed.

The “Backstory” of Love Me Back
When the story of Love Me Back first entered my mind it was
a very different story. It was
originally going to be just Maddy and Trent
and they would weave in and out of each others lives from childhood to present.
I don’t outline my story before writing. I have ideas in my heads of where I
want it to go but I don’t actually write it down (have rethought that on more
than one occasion, since it entails me to go back sometimes and add parts).
Anyway, so when I was writing the first chapter and Gabe walked into the
kitchen and messed with Maddy’s hair, referring to her as Madgirl, it just hit
me. It hit me like a boulder to the head
that I had to change the whole storyline.
Gabe invaded my mind from that point forward and hence Love Me Back was
born.
As far as similarities to my life or anyone I know. There are a few. I was a “little” to my older brother, who happened
to play football for his high school team.
After my brother graduated high school, my dad got transferred and we
moved. But we returned years later,
during my sophomore year in high school and I ended up attending the same
school my brother had. Everyone still
remembered him and I was once again “Little ****”. There were some other “littles” that were
siblings to my brother’s tight knit group of friends but we weren’t as close as
Trent , Maddy, Bryan and Kenna. However, we were thrown
together a lot. Especially when our brothers got older, we attended the same
parties and were invited to the weddings. That’s where it stops.
I hope the reader feels the same emotional rollercoaster I
did writing it. Some days I had a box of kleenex next to me, while others I
wanted to punch Trent ,
shake Maddy or hug Gabe.
